Beauty | Quick makeup reviews #3 - OPI, VIVO etc

Hello lovelies,

I have another quick makeup reviews post today as there are some things which really don't call for a whole post. I'll be sharing some stuff from Makeup Revolution, VIVO and Nicole by OPI.

Makeup Revolution One Sin Too Many black eyeliner.

This is £1.99 and lasts almost as long on me as my Urban Decay eyeliners do, even on my waterline, which is very watery. Amazing! It's creamy and smooth, doesn't drag and is probably the best £2 you'll spend in any given week. Perfect smudged into my lower lashline with a cotton bud to stop me looking like Shirley from Eastenders. ;) It also comes in 5 other colours, which I've yet to try. I thought my Barry M eyeliners were the next best thing to Urban Decay, but this even more so!

VIVO cosmetics eyeshadows in Purple Passion and Aqua Marine. These are £1.89 for a generous 3.8g. VIVO are one of my favourite make up companies - cruelty free, affordable and such good quality. The only drawback is they rarely bring out new lines and are quite stagnant compared to MUA or Makeup Revolution. They are no longer in business as of August 2015.

Here's a look I did with these two (back in October, eek!) The purple is a matte and the green is a satin/pearl finish.

Nicole by OPI nail polish. These were a dream to apply and had a nice brush, which always helps. I've been painting my nails for most of my life, rather artlessly I must say! Some polishes are such a pain to work with, but these dried quite quickly and didn't streak. Yasss.

Back In My Gloria Days (link), Pink-Nic In The Park (link) and I Stop For Nicole (link.) These are £1.99 each for 15ml.

The purple and red shades were opaque in 2 coats but the light pink was never going to be opaque and would look lovely over another polish, or as just a subtle wash of colour as I've used it here. All 3 polishes have shimmer without having any harsh glitter in so aren't as difficult to remove as some polishes. If you find glitter polish a swine to remove you can use my tin foil nail polish removal tutorial, or use some peel off base coat underneath the glitter polish.

Tell me, what's one of the best beauty bargains you've ever found?

Thanks for reading.
Leah xoxo
