It's been an interesting few days. For the last 6 or 7 months I've been waiting to catch a break, and I thought I had one and now it's gone. I'm an optimist and I always look forward to better things happening, but life is such a struggle right now. I feel like I'm drowning. If things don't improve, I can't see a way out. I'm tired of being tired, tired of struggling, tired of feeling like I'm letting people down because my ability to take part in my own life is diminishing by the day.
I look at my wardrobe of fancy clothes and close the door again, because the attitude needed to rock a killer outfit has gone. So baby steps. Leggings and a t-shirt. I can do that. I bought this t-shirt around Halloween time.
The funny thing about faking a smile is it actually helps for a while.
